Presynt is a free, new, privacy focussed social app which helps you to meet up with friends and keep your social life fulfilling; but your location private.

Send out a social 'ping' to your friends to see if they're available and, if they are, call back or set up a meet. All without the over-sharing of location based social networks.

What's so special about Presynt?

Presynt is about real world social networking. It's aim is to provide you with a whole bunch of tools to help you build face to face relationships. Right now we've started with our social radar and meeting organizer. But we'll be adding an introduction service (Friend of a Friend), text messaging and proximity based photo/video sharing soon enough.

Can I get involved?

About Presynt

Presynt is the result of an idle conversation about how you know when your friends are up for a visit? Neil & Bob first started work on the idea just before Xmas 2010 and the first version was on the app store a month later. We've been busy working and improving on the App with some fairly dramatic improvements since then.

Our aim is to bring social networking back into our real lifes and away from computers, well non- mobile ones at least! So we've made Presynt such that your Presynt friends have to be people you have a telephone number for. That also means that we instantly connect you to all your friends in your address book when you sign in. As we add features we give two things priority; firstly we value your privacy, Presynt is not foursquare - we treat your location with respect. Secondly we're not Twitter/MySpace/Facebook - your Presynt friends are people you've actually got some connection too. That's not to say we don't love these networks, you can't drag Neil away from Twitter or Bob from Facebook. It's just that we're a little different - and all the better for it.
